Where we start

Every session begins with a complimentary consultation to talk about what you hope to capture. I want to learn about you, your family, and your pets, the personalities, stories, and connections that make your bond unique. This helps me create portraits that reflect who you are right now and that will forever remind you of this time in your life when your pet brings you such joy.

Our conversation can take place in person, over Zoom, or by phone; whatever feels most comfortable for you. This step ensures that every detail is thoughtfully planned, so your session feels effortless and personal from start to finish.

During our consultation, we'll also discuss which collection best fits your vision. My collections range from $2,200 to $5,500 and include your complete session experience plus generous print credits to create the artwork you'll treasure. When you're ready to move forward, I'll send you an invoice for your chosen collection to secure your session date. Payment or deposit must be received within 7 days to hold your spot.

The photography session

A studio session is a calm, creative experience designed to bring out the very best in your pets. From the moment you arrive, the focus is entirely on you and your companions — there are no time limits and no rush allowing us to move at a comfortable pace.

When you arrive, we’ll take time for your pets to explore the space and get comfortable. Every animal has their own rhythm, and part of the process is letting them settle in and show their true personality. You’ll be part of the fun too, helping with treats, toys, and gentle encouragement as we capture each look and moment together.

As we photograph, images appear instantly on a large screen, so we can review them in real time. It’s a collaborative process — we’ll pause to admire what we’ve created, make adjustments, and take breaks whenever needed.

By the end of the session, we’ll have a collection of beautiful portraits to choose from that celebrate your pet in a way that feels authentic and timeless.

After the session

Once we’ve finished photographing, we’ll take time to review the portraits together and talk about how you’d like to enjoy them in your home. You’ll be able to see the images on the large screen, compare favorites, and explore options for prints, wall art, or albums that best complement your space. We can either decide which photos you want to order that day, or we can schedule a time that works for you. It's a big deal getting photographed, and I want the process to work best for you.

Every piece is crafted with exceptional quality and attention to detail. My goal is to create heirloom artwork that celebrates your pet’s spirit for years to come. I'm here to help you choose pieces that feel personal and meaningful, transforming your portraits into artwork you’ll cherish every day.

If you fall in love with more images than your credit covers (most clients do!), you can add additional pieces at regular pricing. There's no pressure. My goal is the joy of seeing your beautiful portraits come to life.
